MX Unleashed is a motocross racing game for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 video game consoles. It was developed by Rainbow Studios and published by THQ. The Xbox version was released in North America on February 17, 2004, and the PlayStation 2 version was released in North America on February 24, 2004. It was the first game in the MX series to be developed by Rainbow Studios.

Reception

MX Unleashed received above average reception from critics, who praised the accurate physics engine and smaller details that differentiate Unleashed from other motocross video games. GameSpy noted, "... this really is the total package for race games."[1] IGN praised the game's attention to detail and its physics engine.[2] GameSpot wrote, "MX Unleashed is another very good entry in a solid series of motocross games."[3]
